Wow rudorama !

Thanks for reminding us of what music is about! And thanks for sharing a memory that is true to your heart. I enjoyed reading the post!

For me it was "Needles and Pins" (Sonny & her version) in the 70's.

I think of my momma and her beautiful long black hair - - - which was the style in the 70's.

It is more of a childhood memory.

"Shine a Light" by the Stones
Driving home after working all night, and the sunrise broke over the horizon just as the chorus of angelic backup singers crescendo'd...I was 20 years old.

The entire "Car Wheels on a Gravel Road" album by Lucinda Williams:
A road trip from Fort Worth to Florida with Lady Armadillo and the Armadillo Child in 2011...wonderful trip!

"Sent by Angels" by the Arc Angels:
My first slow dance with Lady Armadillo at our wedding reception.

The smell of my mother's homemade biscuits or pecan pie make me feel warm and fuzzy inside.

The smell of oil/grease takes me back to my teenage years, working on my first car, the 1964 Ford Falcon Futura, which I recently had to sell :| :(

id like to chip in on this thread... But you know what? I honestly cant remember the memories i associate with certain songs until the songs brings the memories up unbidden! I know theres lots, but until the moment is right and that paticular song comes on... its all a mystery to me! Dont know if that will make sense to you all! :?
