Do they ever stop stretching? Using then on an acoustic guitar for the first time, working on some finger-style I hope. I really like the soft tone and feel. Also, does anyone have any good resources for developing correct technique? I can finger pick some classical songs and have been working on "Travis Picking" Dust in the wind. I guess I am looking for a basic guide to finger picking with classical rules. I have been playing this way for a long time but never really took my finger picking seriously. It would be awesome to have the skill to use either fingers or pick at will.

Nylons are like any other strings. They do stretch out. My long scales usually take a few days to a week.

Going on about a week now and they are still stretching, but they are slowing down. I am using D'Addario Pro Arte' Normal Tension on a 25.5" scale. I see now why classical guitars have so much space available on the tuning pegs. I tied to a steal string ring for the bridge and used a single tie method at the tuner, to try and use up as much string as I could. I may loosen and pull them tight on the tuning pegs one more time. Even after doing that they still wrap 4 or 5 times or more when tuned up (on the g,b,e strings).

IME they'll take a good few weeks to totally settled down. Give em a tug as you tune up when you start a session with them, unless you already are! :)
