I don't normally write a post just because I bought a new pedal because I have so many pedals and they come and go like a main street bus but about a week ago I picked up a pedal that I think is good enough to write home about. The MOOG MFS-Delay is an analog delay that, in my mind, has all the benefits of digital, all the benefits of analog and none of the drawbacks of either. This thing is completely noise-free and has more than enough adjustability with it's four knobs and yet it has that warmth and musicality you expect from analog. This one's a keeper.

I'm up north working right now so I don't have the benefit of being in my own studio. All I have with me is my Koa Strat, the one picture in my tagline and my TASCAM GT-R1. I can't wait to plug this thing into my Fandango.

Moog makes really top notch gear-their pedals are becoming a benchmark against which other pedals are judged.Congrats on getting such a cool pedal-enjoy.

Congratulations Matt! Cool looking pedal and thanks for posting, listening to demo videos showed that pedal is versatile.

Hey, Rollie. The reason I considered buying this pedal was because I walked past a guy watching a youtube demo about it on his iPhone. I looked over his shoulder and saw what you could do with an expression pedal. The guy was a little wierded out by my proximity but then he saw the gear head expression on my face and he just knew I was a kindred spirit. LOL!! I was already in the city anyway so I walked into the local L&M and bought one. They had the expression pedal in stock but the delay took a couple weeks. No regrets. Except for the treadle. That part hasn't really bonded with me yet. Might be different when I get home and listen with an amp but somehow I doubt it. Thanks for reminding me about the demo vid. I'll post that on my FB for my buds to watch and eat their hearts out.

I'm unable to record anything here at the jobsite. Here are some demos from the website.
