And there you are, one of many other places to comment about mental illness/suicide/selfishness. RW cudos were for recording comedy albums, not music.

This forum on the other hand:
"The Fender Lounge

This forum is for open public discussion of all things Fender and general music-related subjects."

I remember Robin Williams singing the Popeye song.

Come back when you've complained in the International Left Handed Day and What are you doing now? threads. But leave the names calling of recently dead outside. That's a new low.

Yes, Popeye was a Musical. I wish they had put it on Broadway. Not to date myself, but I was 6 years old when that movie came out. It's one of the first movies I ever saw in a movie theater, so I've always associated RW with a singing role.

He won 5 Grammy awards and recorded with Bobby McFerrin. I think he deserves a place here on the Fender forums. If you don't, I'd suggest you stop clicking on a thread titled "ROBIN WILLIAMS DEAD AT 63" and that way you won't have to read it. It's that simple.

With regard to Robin Williams' recording career:Yesterday on Sirius XM's Underground Garage played an excellent cover that Robin did of John Lennon's "Come Together".His voice was exceptionally good in it and it was in fact one of the better covers that I've heard of the song.
