I admit I don't know their "instrument history," but I always assumed Nancy was primarily a Les Paul player...surprised to see so many Telecasters in her hands.

I like most of their early stuff, and their mid-80's revival was inescapable during my high school years, but I regretfully haven't ever seen them. I must remedy that one day.

I was also a little surprised to see the her use the Tele as much as she did. She played that Lake Placid Blue one in the picture for maybe about a third of the show, then split the rest of the time between the SG with the Bigsby, a Les Paul, her acoustics and a mandolin. Trace Elliott amps for the acoustics. Her electric amp was I'm guessing offstage because I couldn't see it, but she apparently uses Fender Tonemasters.

Lead guitarist Craig Bartok, meanwhile, sported an assortment of Strats and Teles, all plugged into AC30s as far as I could tell.

Really a good show, they're totally worth going to see if you get the chance.

Heart has always been awesome, and I'm glad to hear they're still kicking butt. I saw them three times in the early '80s (the Bebe Le Strange tour, headlining a Rock Superbowl, and the Private Audition tour) and they rocked the house every time.
