Don't have a TS. I got a Valve Jr I chain my Peavey into.

It has an 81 in the bridge. It sounds drab and muddy.

I'm actually putting a Dimarzio X2N in the bridge. Yes, an original one from 79.

Nice guitar, unbelievable price. Godin had a reputation for being really exceptionally well built but they never seemed to get the market share they maybe deserved, consequently they're not really sought after and the prices for used ones are rock bottom.

Just take that EMG behind the barn and empty a shotgun into it, I wouldn't even install one of those on a ukulele. Just a thought though, if it's active then it may use low value pots, around 25k so those will need changing if you install sensible passive pickups.

Already ordered a set of 500K CTS pots. Tech is charging me $50-$75 for a rewire, and giving me a setup for the old wiring harness and pickup.

The guitar is crazy nice. It resonates nicely, but the pickup sounds so $@!&#*. Like, it sounds like someone sharting into a mic ran through a big muff into a Marshall MS-2.

Dimarzio X2N....... can't wait...
