FSR......"Fender Special Run".

A commission guitar built with specific features at the behest a large retailer (Sam Ash, Sweetwater, Guitar Circus, etc).

The instrument is a Fender.

Hi there I have a 60s fsr reverse headstock strat mim and want to replace the trem block for a better quality solid one. Could someone tell me what type I need regarding screw spacing.thanks

Am I wrong if I read fsr mean Fender Squier ?

To have a better sustain you need first a guitar made with good wood , Squier are not a guitar which worth any money spend for upgrade.

IMO the only upgrade for a Squier is a better guitar . Any player won't keep this guitar long time , it just good to learn . You loose your money when you'll want to sell the guitar

What is you amp ? Guitar sound is better with good amp than a good guitar with cheap amp

Yeah you are wrong. Fsr doesn't mean squire. I have a 60s reverse headstock strat. It was a limited run of few made. Basically it's an mim version of the Woodstock strat. Very nice guitar

I understand why he's pissed, stratele52 telling him his guitar is a piece of junk without knowing what he's talking about. Some people don't take kindly to that I guess.

Oh please!

stratele52 wasn't sure what FSR meant, and he mistakenly thought that it might have meant Fender Squier, that's all. He didn't even come close to calling it "a piece of junk", you added that yourself. The native tongue of stratele52 is French, so the occasional misunderstanding is to be expected.

Well that's how it came across to me and maybe the OP also. With the knowledge stratele52 shows on here I would have thought he would have known what FSR stood for.
