Anyone seen one of these. So cute. Thinking about picking one up, about $85 us I think.

Looks like it's $89 plus the cost of a power supply (required) $10. Does not come with one, so after that it's the same price as others or more if you have to pay separate shipping on each item. Still has a novelty to it though.

I have been looking into loop pedals myself, for a small one, the best I have played with so far is this one.

BUT, I am saving up to get the Ditto X2, it is quite a cool pedal, and you can take the loop you make, and download it off the pedal and store it on your computer, then upload it back.
That, and they have a library of loops you can download and use.....

+1 looking seriously at the X2

if you're going to go this route (TC Electronic) get the X2,

I have both.

The X2 is far more user friendly. The single button operation on the small Ditto is almost impossible to use for anything in the way of "live" looping.

You really gotta have the dedicated stop button.

the small one is fun for farting around in your cave, but if you plan to use it for anything beyond that, trying to get that double tap to make the loop stop when you need it to, will make you crazy.

I use the JamMan (Digi-Tech).

It has a small footprint.

3 features I especially like are:

It uses SDHC Cards for memory storage. With a 32GB card, you can record up to 16 Hrs. of Loops in 99 Files. That's a lot of Backing Tracks to play along with.

There is an optional Footswitch for selecting different Tracks and changing Tempo without having to handle the Box. Real on-the-fly command.

The feature I find extremely useful is that you can change the Tempo of a Backing Track w/o changing it's Pitch... VERY useful when learning to play a song. You can start out slow and raise the Tempo as you get more familiar with the piece.

cheers!
