First I was a hobbyist, than I was amateur, then roadie, now aspiring musician, in that exact order!? I think an amateur should be after a roadie. Come to think of it, one would first be an aspiring musician, then amateur in my opinion of course! :?

I don't know ... didn't Bon Scott roadie for AC/DC before becoming the lead singer? And didn't current KISS guitar player Tommy Thayer roadie for KISS before actually replacing Ace Frehley? I am not disagreeing, but it seems there is a precedence for the current order of things ...

Wow, I just realized I am #54 when you sort members by post count, descending.

Click here to see the member list. You can go to the bottom to sort the list by post count and descending to see who the posting champs are. Arjay is clearly kicking my butt. He started after me and has almost 4 times the posts. :!:

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

I remember when giljanus won that VG Strat and he hasn't posted since 2012 now.

I remember a lot of those names and the early years of
limited operating hours.

Corky Laing was a Roadie for Mountain, before becoming Mountain's drummer.

Look at the number of members that have actually posted at least once, that cuts the number of members way down. Then, of those, the ones that have posted fairly recently cuts the list even further. There aren't really many active members compared to those that have joined.
