Congrats to all the folks that make this site what it is. And also the folks at Fender for making great guitars and products that we enjoy everyday. Keep up the good work and hope to be here for many years to come.

Wow...those are some serious prizes. Everyone was kind of joking about putting up a guitar as a prize, you guys go ahead and roll out some heavy duty gear, and cash. That is wayyy cool. Nice work. 8)

Fender is giving away great prizes to people who use their stuff and talk about it here! That's a remarkable gesture to us from Fender. Wow.

That kind of appreciation gesture really builds loyalty from us. This site is definitely building the Fender brand. Giving people who are into the musically excellent Fender instruments a place to hang out and talk about it was a great move. I've learned a lot here from guys like CA Feathers and Gravity Jim and Cryingstrat and others. I've also become a better musician by picking things up here about gear. We share a common interest here - music that's generally got some blues, rock, jazz influence - and this forum works.

Hey Brad! Great work my friend! I'm sure it goes without saying but we want the Forum folks to win these prizes, not FMIC employees, correct?

I think you already know the answer to that, Marty. :-) Membership has its privileges -- or, in this case, a lack thereof. LOL! ;-)

How bout anyone with over 1000 posts gets a free guitar? Just kidding. Hoping I can get one of those prizes, but the odds are not favorable. Much better than most contests though.

I have noticed you haven't been on much. Everything OK?

Speaking of not being on much. I spent last night in the ER for some problems with my gallbladder (I'm supposed to have surgery to remove it on June 20) and they put me on pain killers. So I have no idea how much I'll be posting for the next week or so.

Well, this post is from a long time lurker and rare contributor. In fact, I have been following these antics since opening day and have appreciated them both for the entertainment value and for the solid information and opinions I have used to help make decisions on purchase of Fender gear.

Keep up the good work Brad. And to you regular contributors, keep sharing your experiences and opinions - we are listening and learning (dare I say it, I miss Maruuk!) Maybe this will motivate me to take a more active role in the Forum as well.

Well, I hope you feel better from that. I was just finishing up school with finals and such, so that dominated most of my time. Now that it's summer though, I still have a lot of stuff to do, but more time to post anyways.

Thank You, I'm sure I will.

How much more schooling do you have to go after the summer break?
