As a new poster on this site, I would like to let you know of my appreciation of the Fender G-DEC. This little machine has been instrumental (no pun intended) in boosting my playing abilities and giving me much more confidence in those abilities. Thank you Fender for this wonderful product.

:D Last week, I played my very first stratocaster (2008 American Standard Model - Sienna Ash). After playing straight acoustic guitar for 30 years, I must say, I was quite impressed. I can't believe I waited that long. I didn't but that guitar...but I will buy that guitar soon. I've sold my old Ovation and my daughter's flute--almost there with the money. Fender has done a terrific job with these guitars--for the price point--they are an extraordinary value. This comes from a boy that owns both a Martin and Taylor. Nice work!

Glad to see a Fender forum. I have already found the TDPRI forum which has a lot of help. Especially for a newbie with the Affinity BSB tele.
Cheers

Congrats to Fender and thanks for giving us a place to converse, exchange ideas and opinions, argue and, occasionally fight.

My own first anniversary is Saturday!

Because it's like the old jingle: When it's time to relax, one beer stands clear. If you've got the time, we've got the beer.

"Miller Time" can be a very special time.

And it's not about substance abuse.

I am shocked . . . shocked at this unprovoked attack on beer!!! Also, I think you've hijacked the thread.

Thanks for the access to a place where players can ask for and find answers to any strange questions that aren't readily known by many dealers or pickers we may know personally. Rock on! :P
