Thanks Brad for the work you do. Now a Tele give away would be
nice ya no. But what ever plans are I am sure there cool because
Fender is a class act. (First post in this thread has been edited and the giveaway details are posted there ... check 'em out! --Brad)

I'm sure Fender will have something cool going on but let's not forget the most important people here and that's US!!!
I like that we respect each other here. Regardless of age or where you live; your kind of music, experiance level, what Fender resides in your arsenal, you are welcome here to ask questions; share knowledge, tell stories. I feel VERY at home here.
I think one of the nicest things Fender could do is sponsor a "meet and greet" at local music stores; where members of the forums could meet each other in a place of common interest and security.
Have some small giveaways like picks, cords, & maybe books.
Have a grand prize like that American Standard Strat or maybe the prize winner could pick from the standard or even the custom shop catalog.
Man THAT would make a lot of friends for Fender!

What do you think Brad?

Happy Anniversary to all! Of course this is all about Brad. The man who convinced his bosses that this was a good idea. That this would be a place where young, old, cool, uncool. metalheads and bluesman would hang out and actually get along. Brad, you took the chance. You put your reputation on the line. You set the tone. Thanks man! I hope Fender's proud of you. This is the best board on the net!

Yeah, he deserves it. He got Fender to shell out a few bucks to set this up and....most of the work he does here he does after he works all day.

Year 2? Isn't that about the time for potty training?
