Well, it would have been a tip of the hat here too if you had identified the line.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Its on actually 'Sheep' at about 6:40 in. Helps if I give the correct song

Only the first three notes of the Dr. Who theme. He does finish the passage on the live recordings though.

Sorry about that

Comes from Meddle- One of these days

Dr Who theme seems to originally have been a Rick Wright thing and later picked up ny Gilmour, you may hear a few phrases in Cymbeline (More), as well as in the aforementioned

around 4:30

Here's a line that has been used in a number of songs, but I think it was first in Bob Seger's 'Against The Wind'....
Wish I didn't know now, what I didn't know then.

"The longest trip you'll take is inside" - Yes, Talk: Endless Dream

(Granted, the very same song has some of the worst lyrics ever. Like "The most in time is where you're meant to be, for you are light inside your dreams". Sorry, Jon, I need mushrooms to understand that.)
