True, but if it is rare that changes everything. It is not exactly like you can price shop for those. Granted anything is only worth what someone is willing to pay.

Same goes for my Guild. Some motherfucker offered me $700 for it, as if that would ever be enough.

I'd never sell, and my never sell price is not a penny less than $10,000

There is one vintage Dimarzio trem on ebay now. Claims the original saddles are wasted and does not have the original bar. Asking $180 BIN or BO. Thing is it is a "G" stamped which means Gibson string spacing. I might be able to make it work (just use a Gibson type HB) but no way I am going to pay that much without original saddles and bar and I am sure he will be insulted by my offer so I might let that one go. Maybe if he relists and still has no offers I will go in with a low ball and see if he bites.

Yea, I saw it too. But that's just the ridiculous BIN price. I imagine they aren't worth much more than $150 in pristine/NOS condition.

The one I'm looking at has seen its fair share of use.

Agree, and I do not even care if it looks it's age as I am going for a replica look of how an original would look now. So I will hold off for a better deal and hope for under $150 with the original saddles and bar.

If the original saddles were there, I'd jump on it, but they're not. You can always have a bar machined to fit, or find a vintage one that fits. Those saddles just aren't out there, though.

I know..I have looked because my second choice was to re-saddle a vintage style fender trem since I have boxes of those. But can not find those saddles. Might have to make due with it not being a perfect replica. I don't want one bad enough to lose money on resale or too much out of pocket. But those trems are supposed to be awesome brass and sustain really well.

When you can play at least 3 different chords all over then neck and evenly and fully hear each string...you are getting close.

Hey, ebaysux, I'm using my 22" Bosphorus again, only ride that feels right to me.

Might trade the K for a new kit by playing Craigslist right.

PayPal is al set up, and I get my paycheck tomorrow. I can feel this Dimarzio bridge, it's so close. Hope the seller follows through.

It'll just be another way my set up evolves, and a new thread entirely.
