Have become mildy obsessed lately with vintage guitars and equipment.. I love the look of older gear, crazed paint, discoloured pickguards and old fashioned amps! Something that someone's had tucked away in a closet forever and completely forgotten about for a few decades would be an amazing find, though unfortunately for me, living where I do in the outback the hope of chancing upon a vintage find at a yard sale one day is very much a vain one.

So in the spirit of living vicariously I'd love to hear and see what fantastic or interesting finds you've made, whatever it is!

Oh, but remember..

I got this 1965 Harmony H-14 Bobkat(Silhouette) from a buddy of mine for free. He purchased it at a yardsale for $10. he gave it to me cuz the wooden bridge was split. I wood glued it and it plays really nicely. It has a DeArmond Golden Tone pickup, which sounds soo nice and clear. It is Made in USA, and is a nice little vintage find. Image

LEFT TO RIGHT: Gibson Melody Maker (1961 model, VINTAGE), and the Gretsch Chet Atkins Tennessean (1960 or 70's(?, still not sure) VINTAGE).

The other two (MIM Strat and Epiphone Les Paul) are not vintage however. :(
