Any of you old guys out there remember this gem Jack Bruce wrote and Mountain covered so beautifully? Felix Papalardi had one hell of a voice.

Sure, I remember it. I've heard a bunch of live versions of it.

Mountain and Blue Cheer are 2 of my favorite bands, who I think are often overlooked and under appreciated for their influence on hard rock and heavy metal. Both bands unfortunately often fall into "1-hit wonder" statuse with many people, and thats just sad. Blue Cheer was one of the first bands to use stacks of Marshall cabs as their backdrop onstage, so I feel that any band that does that owes a royalty to Blue Cheer, who after 40 years are still together and rocking. I had the pleasure of seeing them live a couple years ago.

When I think of Mountain I think of songs like Misissippi Queen and
Nantucket Sleighride.

Yeah, I think Leslie West is underappreciated.
