My wife and I just saw a wonderful rock show last night. We saw Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers with Steve Winwood opening. It was a great 4 hour show. Steve Winwood is a great guitarist in his own right.
My reason to post this is to let you know that Mike Campbell is an under-rated guitarist. Not only is he a great player, but listen to the guitars he played in ONE show.
1st guitar- Gibson SG in cherry finish w/ vibrola
2nd - Dan Armstrong clear lucite guitar
3rd- Gibson ES-335 in cherry with stop tailpeice
4th-Gretsch White Falcon
5th - Coral electric sitar
6th - Gretsch(smaller body, unsure of model)
7th - double neck custom
8th- Gibson Les Paul Standard cherry sunburst
9th - Gibson ES-355 w/ vibrola
lastly- Duesenburg(the new one he plays)
Yeah, I know, not a Fender in the bunch but Tom Petty played a blonde maple neck Telecaster for most of the show.
If you are a fan of electric guitars, go see Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and you will drool over the waves of guitars.

They always put on a great show. They're just masters at their craft.

When I saw him the Duesenberg he was using was a Starplayer Tv with a Bigsby and a lot of Gibby's
