I was supposed to gig out of town, outdoors last night, but we cancelled due to the weather.
I had Ben Harper tickets, but sold them because I thought we were gigging. As soon as the gig was cancelled, I jumped online and got another pair of tickets.
This was an amazing show. All are such talented musicians. I listen to lots of Ben Harper, but I had not heard his new album with Charlie Musselwhite. For only knowing a few songs that they played this show had me captivated for the entire 2 hours they played!

He's been on my list of musicians to see for a long time.
The last time he was near, it was a 5 hour drive away and we just had our first child who was only 3 months old and were not ready to take him or leave him with a sitter.
We got right up front and I was really into the show.
This was one of the best shows I've seen in a while.
I'm going to see Queen + Adam Lambert tomorrow.

That was probably awesome!
I've listened to that CD more times than you can count. One of my favourites for sure.
I'm actually considering driving up to Edmonton (from Calgary) in August to go see them perform.
Thanks for posting the pics! Enjoy Queen!

 , there are a few artists that I like that many music lovers have not heard of lol. It happens.
You saw Charlie Musselwhite and that is a great blues harmonica player if ever there was one. I got to see him at the Aragon in Chicago with his old band in 1970 before he moved to San Francisco (or perhaps he was here only for a tour stop). I saw him again 21 years later at an old roadhouse called Shades were he played alot of the "Ace Of Harps" material. I tried to buy him a drink but by then he had quit drinking and would only accept water, cool to meet him though. 8)

Very cool SBLS. His playing was great and his singing was great!
They played When the Levee Breaks as the last song, before the encore. It was sooo good!
