Guys;
I want to send you photos of the new amp like I promised,...but I have one slight dilemma. My regular camera quit on me and I no longer use a smart phone that can access the internet. My current phone does have a camera feature, but no internet access to post the photos on here. I can text photos, though!

Just a simple little LG flip phone,...nothing special. BTW,...I did get my regular digital camera going again. I thought it had died completely,...found out it just needed new batteries. Snapped a few photos of the amp,...emailed them to the forum administrator from my Google Picasa account and hopefully they will get them posted for me. Stay tuned, fellas! Hopefully those photos will be on here anytime!

Do you have a Photobucket or Flickr account?

Used to! Got rid of Photobucket,...never had the Flickr! Hated Photobucket because I could never get it to work. Sending photos via email was a hell of a lot easier,...and still is,...for me,anyway!

No way around it, pictures must be on some publicly accessible site in order to post them on this forum. What do you mean, you couldn't get PhotoBucket to work? Hook your camera up to your computer via USB cable, download your pics, then you can easily upload them to PhotoBucket.

I had no problem getting them on Photobucket,...but it was getting them from Photobucket to the website I wanted to post them to! That is where I had problems with it in the past and I swore I would not ever use it again. BUT,...I may give it another try if there's no other way around it! You guys want to see photos and I am trying to bring them to you as promised! If Photobucket still doesn't cooperate,I may try Flickr! I don't mean to sound testy, but I have always used email in the past and it always seemed to work best for me. I'll take another shot at it!

Okay,...the easy part,...I got the photo I want to share on Photobucket.,...that was no problem. Now,...where I am running into trouble is posting a link for you to click onto Or post photo directly without any link at all. As far as a link is concerned, does this site use IMG codes or HTML codes? That is where I am having problems,...getting it to copy, paste, etc.

Just copy the image link (IMG) from Photobucket and then paste it in a post here on the forums.

Guys,...I'm sorry,...the linking is just NOT working and I have given up trying to post the photo,...accept it,..I just CAN'T get it to work. This is why I HATE Photobucket,...emailing the photo would be SO MUCH easier. I have made four attempts and it's NOT working,...sorry,guys! Not going to be a photo posted at this time! My apologies!

When you've uploaded the photo to the bucket, select the photo and you will have this menu toward the top right ish of the screen, copy the link that has the tick:

Image

Paste into thread and as if by magic (as per the photo above) it will show :)

Failing that, drop me a pm with your email and we can get the photos up one way or another.

Or, for a step by step guide, here is an 'How 2' written by a member from a motoring site I am staff on:

Quote:
For photobucket

If you haven't got an account you can create one for free at http://www.photobucket.com/

Image
And choose your username & password
Once you've signed up, click upload

Image

& look for the photos you want to post (Hold CTRL and choose the pics if there is more than one)

Image

Then choose where you want to upload it to, they can go in your main library or you can create an album

Image

Image

If you're creating an album, give it a name and set your privacy settings

Image

And upload your pic

Image

Once it's uploaded copy the IMG Code

Image

and paste into the message on here
Code:
[ IMG]http://i1175.photobucket.com/albums/r628/anniversarygolf/Uploading%20Pics/Anniversary%20148/DSC_4750.jpg[/I MG]

et voila your photo should be posted

If working properly, you simply left click the IMG link on the menu next to the pic on PhotoBucket, and it will briefly flash "copied", meaning that you are ready to paste the link into your post here.

Sometimes, depending on browser or settings, you can left click on the IMG link in PhotoBucket, it will turn blue (highlighted), then right click on the highlighted text, select copy, then go back to your post here and in the text area, right click again and select paste.

I have heard that posting a link using a cell phone is difficult or impossible, though I have not tried it that way. Use your computer and it should work as I described above.
