Just received word from Sweetwater Music & Sound that my '59 Bassman Ltd Vintage Reissue amp may possibly arrive tomorrow. My sales engineer is checking up on the accuracy of the report from Fender, but it's a very strong possibility I may have it tomorrow or Wednesday! I'll keep you all posted! :D :D :D

Aw, man. I am soooo jealous. I always wanted to pick a used one up for small gigs where the kit isn't mic'd on bass, and when I need to do guitar work for side projects. One combo that can do both? Yes, please! These things make me wish Fender would reissue the late 70's Silverface Bassman 10. If you can, pics would be awesome. Love the 59 Bassman.

Just got her home,...pics to come soon as I snap some. I may have to text them to someone and let them transfer the photos over to the site. I don't have a smart phone and my other camera quit on me. The photos will come, but be patient, okay! My current basic phone has camera feature, but no internet access to send them to this website.

I practiced with it this evening and I am telling you,...I LOVE that amp already. I don't quite know how to say this,but,...it is already putting my Hot Rod Deluxe III amp to shame.
I'll keep the HRD III amp,...but I believe I'll be playing through the '59 Bassman a LOT more.
Looking back,...I should have bought the '59 Bassman from the start,...but oh well. Best part is that it is paid for,...I sold my fishing boat to buy the amp. Hell,...I wasn't using the boat and the damn thing was just taking up space in the garage,so I got rid of it!
