Although I have heard that their products have improved over the last few years my personal opinion is to avoid them like the plaque.

I bought this at a local pawn shop a couple years ago for $130.I thought, hey it looks pretty cool and it's left handed! It SUCKS!!! Although it has a neet sound to it,for playing old blues like Jimmy Rogers stuff. But it WON'T stay in tune! I'd say it's a piece of SH**! I just keep it for my collection.Image

Your NOT being offensive. I said it was a piece of "$@!&"! Now I'm embarassed that I even posted this pic! The pick guard is clear plastic. Please everyone stay away these guitars, don't make the same mistake that I made!!! Now go play your Fenders! :)

Ya I stay away from Danelectro guitars now. I have play around
with some of the pedals some good some bad. Now if you want
that style of guitar like the Dano's and others just look at the
guitars that Jerry Jones makes. One of my friends has Jerry Jones
Shorthorn and that thing plays nice. Its one of those wish list
guitars for me they sell for around 1100.00 .

Hello Paulie G,

I had a Danelectro convertible,
formica hollow body back in the day.

The body's gone but I still have the neck.
I wonder what happened to it?

Cheers.
