should be fun in ft. wayne. have been to the last three, and am planning for a gear overdose. i'll be testing some new amps, and seeing performers like carl verheyen and Jason Bonham.

hope to see some of my fender friends there!

phreddybee, I forgot about this post. A friend of mine was going to visit a buddy in Indianapolis , I was going to go for the ride if we could stop to see gearfest, I forgot and he went to Indi. Did you find any gear, how were the shows?

I sat in on the carl verheylan class with the eleven rack. this cat has some serious chops.

the Jason Bonham show to end sunday started late. it was so packed that they had to show it on a screen in a second room. I stayed for the first few songs, but they were having a/v problems so we wound up leaving early.

greg Koch was there-great as always. had a chance to play some crazy priced guitars and amps. lots of good stuff there.

my personal highlight was just before we went in to see Bonham. 2 acoustic players, one from martin, and another who worked for bose, did a little guitar duo at a small stage outside. they played "over the rainbow", "sultans of swing", "billie jean", and a few other songs. extremely talented players who I believe just put this together at the last minute. I could listen to them for hours.

hope you get a chance to go sometime. was definitely worth the trip.

Glad that you had a good time phreddybee thanks for the update. You got to see some great players an added + to trying out cool gear, I will try for the next one. :D
