Here's an awesome idea, open up ADE to international purchases.

There is a wide, wide world of consumers with money burning in their pockets not just in USA.

If I designed a Fender it would be this:

A 30" Bullet Bass Neck.

Mustang bass body with no pickguard and a Cabronita Bass pickup.

Arctic white.

Call it the Corona Bass in honor of Mike Watt's tele bass.

#1 That Custom Shop Anniversary 1964 Closet Classic Jazzmaster in Sonic Blue with mint green pickguard and matching headstock. I'm tempted to get a normal Jazzmaster, and have it refinished in sonic blue and change the pickguard..:)

#2 would be one of those old growth redwood telecasters with the vintage tinted maple neck. I tried one once at Guitar Center... the thing weighed about 2 lbs. I had just bought an AVRI 52 tele... so I couldn't justify getting another tele 1 month later.

Here is mine:

If I could buy this, this would be $400 less that what I would pay for an American Standard Stratocaster in my country.

Yep! Also, guitar legend Yngwie Malmsteen inspired my color scheme.

Now I have GAS for an imaginary guitar!

"I always knew I wanted to play Fender guitars because Jimi Hendrix played one, Kurt Cobain played one, Eric Johnson played one…

So it wasn’t about what brand to play. It was what body shape do I choose from?

I tried the Stratocaster but it wasn’t for me…

I tried the Mustang but it too wasn’t for me….

Then I tried the Telecaster… WOAH!

This is the guitar Jeff Buckley wrote “Grace” on.

This is the guitar Jimmy Page recorded the solo to “Stairway To Heaven” with!

The Telecaster it is!

My dream guitar would have it all. I love the American Standard Telecaster because the neck fits to your hand like a glove and the contour body makes the guitar feel like it is an extension of your soul! The pickups I choose would be a ’52 neck pickup and ’58 bridge pickup for tonal nirvana! The S-1 switching system would take the guitar to the next dimension and bring even more tone options like in series and out of phase sounds. The color scheme would be a Vintage White alder body and 3-Ply White pickguard inspired by guitar legend Yngwie Malmsteen.

I wake up and I am dreaming….

It will be mine. Oh, yes it will be mine.”

(Just for fun! Think tacky Wayne’s World guitar promo!)

mine would be a mixture of the srv number one and the john mayer black one, both are exquisite looking guitars and both sound fantastic.

I've always maintained that the JM guitar is basically an SRV clone with different pickups.

I would probably go for a Robbie Robertson-inspired Strat with Lace Sensors (Purple/Emerald dually in the bridge and a Light Blue in the neck), five-way switching, Super V bridge (a modern take on the old Wonderbar), Bronze Metallic finish, 3-ply black guard and dome metal knobs.

Passive circuit like Robbie's original bronze guitar.
