Greg was Robben's personal luthier for years. Robben moved to the Baker camp shortly after.

The real Fender Marauder, even if it was a limited run, I would get one!

That's interesting. The pic I posted was uploaded to the fender Customshop Facebook page last week.. So since it's built by Fessler, I wonder if it means that Robben is making a comeback to Fender..?

I agree! Give us the bells and whistles on our Sambora/Floyd Rose strats Fender :)

Not the later version with the weakier 12dB boost, SSS setup and vintage hardware.

The original HSS with the graduated MOP stars, original Floyd Rose, DiMarzio PAF/TX Special setup and the full 25dB boost in Olympic White, Cherry Burst and Black Paisley!

That's the one!

I put in a request for this spec from the Custom Shop. Pricey, but it will be mine one day!

I'm afraid Richie wouldn't agree for a comeback.

Making a signature model from a former Fender endorsee who moved to the ESP camp in 2002 without his own agreement is illegal - unless you miss his personal signature.

Certainly Richie still plays Fenders and other solidbody electrics but signed an endorsement deal with ESP long time ago.

Those hoping a welcomed return of the former Bon Jovi scorching lead guitarist to the Fender camp must hold their breath. Richie has no plans to re-endorse a Fender signature model.

+1 on the return of the hardtail. Either as an option on the 65' RI or an American Standard. I love my hardtail but I special ordered the body from MJT.

I completely agree, that guitar was way ahead of its time. I had an old Fender Japan catalog in the 1980s that featured those and I just thought they were the coolest thing I'd ever seen.

I've been saying for a couple of years now to bring back the fender american deluxe 5 string bass. In translucent colors.
I know this won't happen, how about the Fender Lead I and Lead III. with humbuckers?

It's the 5-string version of the current ADP you're talking about or the older downsized model with the huge Bill Lawrence Jazz Bass humbucker and the 22-fret neck?

As for the translucent colours I suppose you missed the classic transparent teal finish a lot...
