My uncle is gone. He was 94 years young. He was an amazing musician and his boys definitely benefited from his talent. Heck, we all did. He was a hard working, humble sweet man. He is a huge reason I kept playing guitar even though my cousins were way better than I will ever be. He and my aunt never once complained when we played Judas Priest, ac/dc and iron maiden at deafening volume levels in the garage that they converted to a studio. They both loved the fact that our generation loved playing music as much as the one before us. It is a big reason I like this forum. So many stories like this one.
I learned yesterday that he took his own life. He didn't want to burden anyone anymore. The news hit me like a piano being dropped from a high rise building. It is so very sad.
Anyway folks, the service is Wednesday and there will be a lot of us traveling the highways to pay our respect. Please send some mojo our way.

Sorry to hear of your loss, my friend.

It sounds like he left behind a rich legacy behind him though that will continue on.

Sympathies. My family knows what it's like when a member leaves through that door. A tough go at any age. One of our own here just lost his mother in like fashion not too long ago. Screen name was Toliver-Lyons aka Trauma. Doesn't post much any more.
