Awwwww. Thanks to you all!! I pretty much already had my birthday celebration by way of spending my entire Saturday (10 am through midnight) in the studio with choice gear. Such a blast!! I would honestly live there if I could - I'd just need someone to bring bread and water by on occasion. Any volunteers? :D

Now, we won't talk about the cabinet and bass amp hanging out in the back of this here photo, mmm'kay? Seriously, I'm using the delightful Super-Sonic™ 22 in the corner there in this pic. :D

Probably end-of-summerish. As is typically the case with such an endeavors, that pace is driven more around budgetary concerns rather than creative conception, unfortunately. Oh, to be independently wealthy ...

What a great way to spend a birthday!

Hope you celebrate fifty or sixty more, Brad.

(mine was Sunday but I didn't have near the elaborate gala as you)

What a great way to spend a birthday....so cool.
Did you by any chance record that song we talked about...the pedant?
I've been to Arizona only once - Tuscon at the end of May and I loved it! The conference I was attending had a loose structure, so I could go exploring the desert amongst the Saguaro cacti and Sidewiinders and Gila monsters as well as presenting and listening to learned papers.
Like Rollie, I'd volunteer to bring bread and water. Maybe the occasional granola bar.
I'm tied up next week, though....

(Belated) happy b-day, sir! Now, there's really nothing elaborate nor gala-like about spending one's day sweating one's you-know-what off in the studio. We must turn off the A/C while tracking, of course, to prevent unwanted A/C noise on said trackage. But ... I'd take it over any other way to celebrate, regardless. :D

Sounds like you got the full experience! I'm from Tucson originally myself, actually. Next time you're out this way grab yourself a mountain bike and/or some hiking boots and plan on spending a day getting the feel of the place. I love the desert and it's difficult to imagine living anywhere else, honestly!
