I like a wide variety of music. I'll be heading out tomorrow for a couple of gigs and taking music like -

Amy Winehouse (Back to Black)
Corinne Bailey Rae (self titled)
Velvet Revolver (She Builds Quick Machines)
Elvis Costello & The Attractions (Winterland Ballroom boot)
The Black Keys ("live")

and some of the usual guitarslinger stuff

Many a variety. There is so much to hear these days and some groups that I can't get enough of. It is great to keep an open mind about musical taste from classical to metal and all the fantastic styles/songs inbetween.

I just can't make up my mind!

I also like a lot of the Dave Edmunds/Nick Lowe stuff.

Nick's latest, "At My Age", his first in about six years, is vaguely 60's sounding rock, and some ballads, but not too mushy.

You're right, he put on a great show, and the CD is killer as well.

Been listening to allot of Jimi the past couple of weeks, esp. the Blues CD.

Also popped in Eric Clapton's the Cream of Clapton a few times last week, and then for a bit of a change some Our Lady Peace Clumsy CD...This week I feel a revisit of the 90's coming on...

I liked his version of an older Ray Charles tune called, "Take These Chains from My Heart."

I've been listening to some of The Bill Black Combo, Early Elvis, Sam Cooke, ZZtop, 60's Motown and alot of the Blues station on XM radio. Alot of the stuff I heard as a kid growing up, that made me fall in love with the bass.
