This one does have the mahogany neck. The 2014 LPJ's and Studios have a maple neck.

I've also got a LP Studio, this one:

2 Burstbucker Pros in mine though, but I love the creamy lead sounds I can get with it :)
Gotta love the Studio models, cheaper and better sounding :P

Nice! I was interested in burstbuckers too, but they only come on the Studio Pro, which is slightly out of my price range.
I missed out on these faded studios.
