Page will be delivering the school’s commencement address May 9. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer also will receive an honorary degree, joined on the dais by R&B songwriter Valerie Simpson, jazz pianist Geri Allen, and trumpeter Thara Memory.

The incomparable Page, who turned 70 in January, will address the school’s 880 graduates — and nearly 6,000 guests — at the Agganis Arena. The night before, a collection of Berklee students will pay tribute to the honorees with a concert featuring their music. No word on whether Page will take part, but Annie Lennox and Willie Nelson, who received honorary degrees from Berklee last year, did perform.

It's wonderful to see Thara Memory being honored as well.

A lot of incredible talent from that school. A while back I did a search of alumni, lots of names you would recognize. Something like 239 Grammy winners. Bright future for those 880 grads.

He has performed at various Boston venues. Doctor Page. Maybe he can sell out the Boston Garden (again) :)
