I just recently ordered some CS Twisted Tele pickups for my FSR Telecaster. The stock pickups are what I believe to be Mexican made "Texas Specials." I played an American standard with a TT neck pickup and a broadcaster bridge pickup at my local Guitar shop which led to me ordering the new pickups but I can't find anything on the TT bridge pickup. Any help?? How does it sound compared to the broadcaster which is usually paired with a TT neck pup?

I have one in my Esquire, sounds kinda Strat like, very responsive and lots of clarity.

Warm chunky lows, clear mids, and sparkly highs, all around very balanced tone.

Nice guitar! Does the pickup still have a good classic tele twang to it? I play mostly traditional country(Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, etc.) I liked the stratty sound of the neck pickup but I still like some twang in the bridge.

The twang is less the pickup model than (a) having the Tele wiring with a cap between the tone control and ground, and (b) picking close enough to the saddles.
When I run my HH tele in split coil mode, even that has plenty of twang, as long as I don't pick North of the pickup.

Strings can also affect how much twang you get - plain steel strings seem to be more twangy, at least for me.

Makes sense. Guess I will see how I like the pickup when I get my tele back. Thanks for the help.

Yes, it has plenty of twang also. Bottom line, it's a very versatile and great sounding pickup, I think you'll like it.
