Does anyone else here like them? Or even heard of them? There not very well known, but i like them alot. They're definately in my top 5 favorite bands. They hail from boston, and they play Irish-sounding punk rock. If you've seen The Departed, then you heard their song, "I'm shipping up to Boston". Seriously, they're the only punk band i know of that involves an accordion and bagpipes lol. You should seriously check them out though.

I love The Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly. I think that Irish-rock is awesome.

yeah, i tend to like bands that arent that popular. my favorite of their songs are probably 'warriors code', 'the walking dead', 'im shipping up to boston', and 'sunshine highway'. Btw, to people who know them, have you ever noticed how awesome their drummer is?

Yeah he is really good and I like "I'm Shipping Up to Boston" too. Their guitarist used to be Synyster Gates until he went to Avenged Sevenfold.

Yeah I like the whole Celt-rock thing: MacGowan & the Popes, Pogues, Flogging Molly, D-Murphys.

ive been a fan of them for a very long time...since i was about 14, im 20 now. They are excellent, and they fit right into my musical taste...if you like them check out the misfits, the young dubliners, the bouncing souls and flogging molly

Being Irish I like this music, not that you have to be Irish to like it!

But all these Celtic/punk bands get their ideas from the real deal Blood or Whiskey. An Irish based band who formed 1993. Its very sad to see their music being ripped off by Dropkick murphys, Flogging molloys etc etc
Check em out if you can or if you like this style of music, they are the originals

haha hells no, I'm Italian/Romanian and I start every day at work with my Dropkick Murphys, BaW or Young Dubliners station on Pandora!

And I wouldn't say that they rip off...I think that BaW started a genre much like Nirvana did, people are just following in that vein
