A couple of contemporary pieces from the Putomayo CD Greek Odyssey. Very melodic and not the usual.

Basically Greek cafe / lounge stuff. Mosrite Mk I or AS Strat, Cyber-Twin on '59 Bassman.

In the tab that I have the author said it was an open E tuning. But at the same time, I've been constantly making changes of my own on that tab because it doesn't sound right. I got it off of Ultimate-guitar.com

Try DADGAG, I think you'll like it.

this is embarassing but how do you tune to DADGAG or an open D? I always get confused when it comes to tuning my guitar a different way. I'm kind of new to that area, I always play the songs I play with my guitar tuned the same way, so I don't know much.

Well DADGAD is easy....you tune your strings D A D G A D. Open D is the same except the G string is tuned to F#.

cool, so just to clarify, the 6th string would be tuned to D, the 5th dtring would be tuned to A, the 4th string would be tuned to D, and so on. Did I get that right? Just makin sure

From standard tuning, simply tune down the high and low E strings one full step. Then tune up the B string one full step. The A D G strings are the same as standard tuning (EADGBE).
