What do you guys think about the MXR 10 band EQ? Has anyone had, any experience with this pedal? Thanks

Yeah, I had one maybe a couple of years ago. It was okay, I got some different settings from it. I did like the adjustable level out on it. And it is (or was then) quite spendy. I traded it in for something, don't remember what, though. Looking back at it, I should have gone with the 6-band EQ instead and saved some cash.

Can it drastically change your sound?

Eh, mayby not drastically. I used it to bump the low end frequencies and lower the highs a little bit. At the time I was playing through a crappy practice amp with a tiny speaker. It made it a little more enjoyalble to listen to.

Versatile, yes. You can shape a lot of sound with 10 frequency sliders. If I remember right, it had one slider for overall volume and another dedicated to gain. I didn't use the gain at all. But like I said, I only used it for one thing when I had it. Check out harmony-central dot com and check out detailed user reviews there.
