Remember what happened when he cranked that one. Well.....I had one of those....and I had to move. The neighborhood is still waiting for their checks from the Office of Emergency Management so they can rebuild. You know how long it takes for those bureaucraps to get their thing going.

So this time a bought the Boogie.

So, how do you like the King Snake, Doc? Have you had a chance to crank it?

Drew...everything they say about Randall Smith's creations is true. Remember though, he made Leo's better. And that's how it all got started. The story of this amp is worth finding yourself a copy of the January 2013 Guitar Player Magazine for. it's all there. Unless you're playing a rrrrrreallybigvenue, it's all you're gonna need, and pity the folks sitting close to the band.

Well, now that this thread has been completely derailed, we may never know just what a "big amp with all those settings" meant.

It's probably a certainty that the OP didn't know either.

So is this where the term "Snakeskin Boogie" came from :?:

As for the big amp page...isn't that what we refer to when Arjay posts a pic of his amps :?:

I agree with T2.

I also always think of Arjay when I think of "big amps page".

However, I do believe the OP, who has not returned, was thinking of Fender Fuse:

Just what came to my mind. :D

You may be thinking 'Tube Snake Boogie' [ZZTop]...and THAT has NOTHING to do with amps.

You are right, but I believe ZZ Top was Tube Steak Boogie, but I was trying to at least attempt to be on topic

+1

Just as "Pearl Necklace" has nothing to do with jewelry.
