How do i get to the page with the big amp and all those settings! I'm new here. I figure it involves going somewhere via dashboard drop-downs. But have tried the most obvious choices without luck.

I don't know what you mean by the "BIG AMP PAGE", but the link to all of Fender's current amps is at the top of the page.

Are you maybe asking about fuse/mustang type stuff?

I don't own one of those or know anything about that stuff but someone will if that is what you are looking for.

Eric Clapton's Brownie brand-new fresh out from the box long time before EC purchased it from Sound City in May 1967!

Brownie needs an Elite circuit and a set of VNs to fatten up things nicely! :P

Something you might expect from the sunburst T-Mobile guitar!

You really don't have a clue as to what authentic Stratocaster tone is all about, do you?

That might be a blessing in disguise for him considering the fact that I played my first Strat in 1958.   :? This '54 repro seems to have it.

[I'd expect you'd be used to this by now..    ] Clapton did a promo for T-Mobile for which the company issued a limited edition 'Fender my Touch 3G Mobile Phone with a sunburst finish on the back of the case. Todd Krause built a one-off Clapton T-Mobile Stratocaster which had a book-matched flame maple cap finished in 2-tone sunburst. The guitar, beautiful piece, and a phone signed by Eric were auctioned at Bonham fund raiser in NYC 3 years ago March. The pair went for about $18K if memory serves. I was at the preview but not in the market for the bidding at that time. Of all the guitars in the lot, I wanted that one and the Krause sapphire blue Acoustosonic Strat. I think the latter went for $14k. Give Chromeface some time and I trust he'll come up with the final numbers, and some pics to boot.

IMHO the 'burst' on Clapton's guitar is not as esthetic as either the repro's, the T-Mobile, or other 2-tones of its generation. I've seen it close up and personal. It's too dark. Never liked it. But that's just my 2 euros.

That's what I was thinking too ("all those settings").

So, how do you like the King Snake, Doc? Have you had a chance to crank it?
