Hi, I mislaid the footswitch for my Fender Frontman 212R a couple of weeks ago.

I am not sure of the part for replacement but I have seen something that looks like it, advertised, and the part number is 0050419000 It has a channel select switch on the left and a gain/more gain on the right. Does anyone please, know if this is the correct footswitch for the amp, and if so, is it a mono 1/4 jack connection to the 212R or a stereo, I simply cannot remember. I would be grateful if someone could advise me, as I have seen one of these on eBay, but I am worried about buying a footswitch that will not work/compatible with the 212R. If not, what is the right p/n for a replacement footswitch ? I am a bit clueless on this.

Thanks

I have nothing constructive to add. Other than trying to say "Frontman Footswitch" 5 times fast is fun. Good luck!

I am glad that the thread has caused some amusement, but I am still very anxious to know what replacement Foot switch I should use :) should any members have a little expertise in that area regarding amps

Did you send FMIC customer service a message? They are usually pretty good about getting back within 24hrs. This seems like it would be best handled by going to the source, or possibly checking your manual. How many buttons was the original, and what were it's functions?
