My cat is spending more time outdoors these days. He's been marking his territory on the side of my amp. I actually didn't know this was going on for about a week, one day I went to move it and noticed something wet on the side of it, I cleaned it off and it showed up again the next day. Just couldn't figure out what it was, until I saw him in the act. .001 seconds later he was out the door, hehe.

My amp needed a good cleaning anyway.

My dog hides in a closet when I practice without the headphones and lays next to the amp when I play with the headphones.

I don't have my Strat yet and am still plinking along learning on my acoustic... whenever I settle down to practice I always look up to see my two dogs laying together on their mat, gazing mournfully up at me. After awhile of practicing notes on the higher strings over the weekend they even went and sat by the back door, again with the puppy eyes!

I guess at least they're a measure of my playing success, as they certainly seem to tolerate the chords I nail far better than those I don't.... Image

My cat likes to sleep in the case and tries to bite the strings when I play (Jealous i think) I had a rainbow lorikeet that liked to swing on the wang bar when i was playing and sometimes hopped on my right hand for a ride! clearly affecting strumming hehehe

One of our cats like to sleep on my pedal board - it has some empty space - so she just curls up and rests her head on the Chorus or Flanger :P

She looks so cute.

The cats tend to leave when I play, but the dogs will stay until I start to play loud - then they leave.

My 2 cats are too afraid to even sniff the guitars...when they're sitting in the stands, unplugged, and not being used. Although one of the cats likes to curl up in the belly of my dad's banjo case...fits so perfectly lol.

Our cat beofre the one we have now had a things about scenting - lots of string had to be replaced, and we do not have that problem with our new cat. However they both share a love for bluegrass.

I'm often jamming with a friend and 1 of his 2 cats like to stick her head inside my champion 600 or sleep behind it, she's also pretty easy to confuse, she doesn't really get it when our fingers move and the sound comes from the other end of the room
She sleeps on my hardcase and use gigbags as scratch trees
The other cat couldn't care less

My turtles look at me whenever i hold my guitar :?

Back when I had a Les Paul Special, my cat knocked it off the stand and put a nasty gash in it.

Today the cat is dead and all my guitars are hanging on the wall... and I don't have the Les Paul anymore.
