Any stories? How are they with your gear?

My catface loves my guitar case. Its a gator hardshall, and whenever I have it open she climbs inside and sits and purs. Its rather cute. As for my guitars, her favourite is my strat, which she loves to rub against whenever shes in my room :)

I have a cat that loves sitting on guitar cases. Don't know why, but it's her favorite thing to sit on. I have hard shell cases, so it does no harm. Only thing that has ever happened, is she puked on one of the cases she was lying on. No big deal, it just wiped off very easily.

I had one of my cats once spray a guitar book that I had. I had to throw that away. I generally have all my guitar stuff in one room, so to keep the cats out, when I can't oversee them.....I bought several motion detectors (at Radio Shack) and put them in the room. When the cats go in there, it sets off a loud alarm, and they go running for the hills.

Our cat used to use my synth as a launching pad to the top of a closet. Had to move the synth. My german shepherds never mess with anything that isn't theirs. I love german shepherds. The perfect dog.

Hello Highbinder,

I have an old parrot who is really into
the Allman Brothers. He goes off
for the Eat a peach album. It's pretty comical.

Cheers.

I have known a couple who loved their cats ...

until they used their guitar cases as litter boxes.

Man, what smelly messes those were. :(

Hey Cryingstrat,

I can get my neighbor to get a picture
I'm not sure on the video capabilities.

It really works. Must better than someone squirting water at them (you get everything else wet too). They're very small motion detectors, can be placed anywhere, work on a 9 volt battery, and if they're set off, will reset in 30 seconds for the next go-around. I use them mostly when I leave the house and the cats are on their own. But I usually leave one of my guitar cases out somewhere, for the one female cat who loves to sit, and sleep on it.
