it was such a difficult thing to read on your wall! One way to measure the kind of person a man was is to look at his children. I must say judging by the man you are, he must have been one heck of a guy. My condolences to you and your family!

All,

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comments here. Dad's sudden passing 2 weeks ago came as quite the surprise for us as he was in seemingly excellent health. But, despite the initial shock, we've all walked away with a newfound sense of deep respect for the man. He lived a great and well rounded life, and was successful with virtually anything he set his mind to - and he went the way he would have wanted it, very quickly and with no pain. A true Renaissance man. Our main regret, of course, is that we didn't get a bit more time with him!
