After much consternation, I finally finished putting together a complete gig ready rig. I haven't used it for a show yet, but it's now finished and available as I need it.
I know there's a couple of pedal board threads. I thought anyone that wants to show off a complete gig ready rig could post pictures here. We don't really need pics of every piece of gear we own, but complete rigs that had some thought put into them would be nice to see.
Here's some details on mine:
Egnator Renegade 65w amp head
Carvin 2x12 cabinet w/ 100w speakers
Custom built 1x12 cabinet w/ 75w Creamback speaker
Pedal board, front row goes direct in, back row through effects loop
Ipad to control the Eventide H9 modulation pedal
Carvin ST300, my current #1

I'm getting completely different sound from the two speaker cabinets which is what I wanted. The Carvin is nice and tight and clean, the 1x12 a bit hairy and vintage sounding. I can take either one or both to use with the head.

That's a righteous rig. As they say down under, "Goodonya!"

This is the business end of my guitar sound. ACT MP100T MIDI tube preamp, Lexicon effects unit for the tempo-sync delays, Marshall power amp and a couple of 1x12 cabs. Works for me. MIDI pedal to select program changes, I occasionally use a Boss SL-20 slicer pedal sync'd to the delay time with MIDI clock.

Click for MASSIVE pic.

There's another rack with guitar synth stuff but that pretty much never leaves the music room.

Simplicity is bliss for a live setup. I can set up my rig in 5-minutes.

Our whole band learned the most important aspect of playing live locally and on tour. Unless your slot is one where you're setting up as a headliner before the opening acts go on, simplicity and speed are your best friend.

We were a 6-piece band, and we could be setup and ready to play in 10-15minutes. Venues and sound guys LOVE that!! The quicker you set up, the more time they have to dial you in. If you take a half hour, don't be surprised if the sound isn't very good, or you can't hear the Bass or Vocals Etc.. Nothing is worse than a band that takes 45-minutes to setup. Make it fast, don't mess around, stay attentive to the sound guy, let him adjust your band in the order he wants without having to scream for your attention.

We were militant in our setup. Set up fast, everyone's attention forward, listen to the sound man's instructions. It was like clockwork. As a result, we were complimented a lot, made good friends with sound guys, and venues wanted us back.

Getting off the stage was the same. 5-minutes and we were gone.

Good advice JS. I knew I was going a bit overboard for what I now do. That's why I went with a head and cabinets so I could pick and choose what I might need. But I agree, simple is better. Relic man has that dialed in.

Yep, be nice to the soundman and he'll be nice to you.

Don't take too long setting up or getting off and the club, the audience and (when applicable) the headliner all love you.

Nothing worse than an opening band that takes forever to set up, then plays too long, then leaves their stuff on stage while they go somewhere to hang out. Seen it happen way too many times. I prefer to work with professionals!
