Can anyone point me to some sheet music, or even just chords of the "piano part" of Eric Claptons Layla.

Everything i have found so far is just guitar tabs or unplugged versions of the song.

Thanks in advance
OL

I have Layla (the full sheet music version with chords, lyrics, and piano score), in an old Eric Clapton music book somewhere.

I'd have to scan each sheet to .jpg or something and upload them to Photobucket. But first I have to dig around and find the old music book. The last time I remember, it was in an old tupperware bin mixed with all other music books in the closet.

Edit: The piano outtro section is authentic in the sheet music book. I literally forced myself to learn it, and at the same time, it taught me how to play keyboards/piano. Win=win! :)

When violating someone's copyright, it's always nice to post about it on an Internet forum stating exactly how you're going to go about violating the copyright. :D

IIRC, it's in Db, but the structure in any key is like:

I, iii, IV, IV
I, iii, IV, IV
ii dim, I

Good luck, great outro too!

I've found a video and the guy has it all charted out (not entirely correct, but it gets you closer) :

*watch on YT for the chart link*

Also, if you scroll down a bit, some interesting bits about
that outro :

Uh yeah... I realized that after I posted it.

Anyway, to the original poster, Layla is written in Dbm, but yet in the studio, it sounds like Tom Dowd had the recording engineers bump up the pitch by a 1/2 step, so when you play it and/or hear Clapton play it live, it's in Dm.
