does it have "Hair"?

Edit:

Just checked the sound sample... YUP I'd say it has "hair". Great price. I'd love to get one of those kits.

Thanks for sharing

It's a Fuzz pedal, yep it has hair. Hence the name Fuzz pedal.
I have a feeling the OP is just busting balls.
I've built a few pedals from these guys and they never disappoint. Great prices, easily modded.
This Fuzz is different, the Gain control is insane to the point that I keep it all the way down. It'll give you all kinds of harmonic overtones and crazy stuff. Just with the output knob it has a ton of gain and sustain. Even more than a Big Muff I had way back. To really control it, you need to work the guitar's volume and tone controls. It's cool with my Strat, ans insane with my Les Paul with P90's it's nuts.

Here's another one.
The SuperFuzz Does exist. Univox had one too but the vintage price thing won't work.

That's a great sounding pedal! If I needed a fuzz (I have that covered), it would definitely be on the list.
However, my powers of prediction are telling me that James is going to say, "Meh. Don't you understand? I need more ploppertine and some yabba dabba doo and some hair. Sheesh! You people don't get it! Any more suggestions?"
At this point, he's not just trolling, he's punking everybody who continues to make suggestions.

SA you'll get no more hair than a Big Muff.
I actually got a chance to try that pedal. It has tons of versatility. I just like building my own.

I have had good luck this the GFS pedals, and at 50 bucks, it is really hard to go wrong.

If there good enough for Earl Slick......

+1

Their Brownie is a Rat circuit with the LM308 chip. They just got a resistor value wrong but you can simply pop the back off and piggy back one on the back of the PCB. No need to even remove.

I have the Biyang Fuzz Star which is the same as the GFS fuzz. Great muff clone and cost me 35 bucks.

I just started building a Univox Super Fuzz and I'm modding it with a tone control instead of the stock tone switch. I'll see how it goes.

Thanks a lot for posting this. I liked it so much I bought it, and it really is a great pedal. If it's a BMP clone, it must be one of the older clones back when the BMP was rightfully legendary. I have owned two current EHX BMPs, and I have never been happy with either one. No matter how you turn the tone knob, they only seem to have two EQ settings, Shrill and Mud, and scooped mids no matter what you do. This GFS pedal, on the other hand, is great! It's a real steal at only $50, and it has become my current go-to fuzz because it is just too much fun! 8) 8) 8)
