My review of the fuzz pedal is that it has just enough hair for my tastes and my taste alone. :P

Congratulations! Are you going to tell us what it is? Just being coy all the time is getting old.

I'm GASing pretty hard for this fuzz pedal at the moment, a re-creation of the '73 Ram's Head Muff, but with adjustable mids, and at a reasonable price. And I like Frankenstomp's reviews because he is not selling anything, so he really is very ... frank. :P

Yeah, I've been strung along since Page 1. What did you finally decide on?

Spacewolf -- I'm checking out that '73 Ram's Head pedal, though, the Frankenstomp review was a bit over the top. I think Frank and Igor have too much time on their hands.

Yeah Steve, it's a pretty sweet pedal, IMO. It's currently at the top of my GAS list.

And I like the entertainment factor in Frankenstomp's reviews, it makes them a little more :D fun :D .

That Vic Audio 73 rams head sounds cool..I've also been considering the Wampler velvet fuzz.

Huh!
Such a dumb question coming from the king of complainers about people posting dumb questions!!
What sort of answer do you think is ever possibly going to tell you how a pedal sounds? What an utter idiot!
Why don't you do what most people do when shopping for equipment and get off your butt, walk into a store and try some out? Or are you too intimidated by the "No Smoke On The Water" signs in the sound room?!
Also, seeming you like to pick on others people's posts so much, I should point out that a Fuzz pedal is a vintage pedal you idiot. And as you also obviously know nothing about biology, I'm sorry to inform you that, no, they don't grow hair. As cute as I'm sure that would be for your simple minded mind I thought it was only the right thing to notify you of that.

No?

I think there might be a market for softer pedals for the barefoot players out there. Perhaps a chiapedal. Perhaps a mossrite.

Hey, that's really cool!
Like I said, it would look cute!
I just had to give JimRusell...postcomplainer...a dose of his own medicine and demonstrate to his critical highness that anyone's post can potentially be picked apart, ridiculed or made fun of. I was always brought up being told that asking questions is a way of learning and that no question is (unless intentionally) is stupid. While I'm not a huge user of forums I have noticed a few certain users in these Fender forums to be a bit overly critical and basically just being negative for the sake of wanting an argument or something which to me is kind of stupid because all of these forums and their topics are optional to partake in, so if you don't like the topic, why even bother saying anything at all? I seriously don't see any point in joining someone's topic just to pay out on their question or their topic. It just doesn't make sense to me, I mean wouldn't you be better off spending your time reading about a topic that you are actually interested in?
They must be either really, really bored or really, really stupid.
Or both.
Basically, what I'm trying to demonstrate to JimRussel...complainer... is that everyone can be nasty if they wanna be, but seriously, what is the point?
:?

I'm assuming that a Vintage Reissue is not technically Vintage. I'm not in the same camp with labeling everything Vintage, shh at least not yet anyway!

Okay so after fending off several verbal assaults I'm thinking about slowly easing into explaining more about the pedal that I have. I know a lot of people will already have preconceived notions about it so I'm going to take my time with presenting it. I know I've probably caused a lot of people to physically harm their computer. I am aware that one person probably even tried to "choke-out" their computer! So here we are, my pedal and I on one side and a very large crowd of individuals that may have one or two or three nut-jobs that prey on hallucinations. That is, things they think they see but in reality does not exist. Bear with me as I further explain the symptoms of Mono Meridian Disorder. :|
