I would like to see Fender reissue the Vibratone Cabinet. I know there are pedals that is supposed to recreate the sound, but I haven't seen a pedal yet that truly sounds like a Leslie Tone Cabinet (Vibratone).

+1 on that, would love to find one of those old Vibratones, but they are hard to find. A good reissue would be great.

So long as it was based on the Leslie 18 with its 12-inch speaker.

The early version with the ten was pretty anemic. As well, the rotor should be fabricated from something other than sleazy styrofoam. And since FMIC has already re-issued some drip-edge silverface amps, I'll take mine with the aluminum trim thankyewvurrymuch.

I would like Fender to re-issue some kind of solid body 12-string like the Stratocaster XII or (dare to dream) the Fender Electric XII with the "hockey stick" headstock. A 12-string is the last weapon I need in my musical arsenal . . . but not the last weapon I want.

I have a CBS Musical Instruments Leslie Model 16 cabinet with a JBL K-120 speaker and the rotating drum,it was for all intents and purposed a Fender Vibratone cabinet with a few visual differences.A pedal that's very Leslie like is the Tech21 NYC RotoChoir, I bought one because of it's almost spot on sound and performance of the real thing, right down to ramping up and slowing down gradually like an actual Leslie plus when overdriven the slightest bit the pedal starts to get that same growl that Leslies used to get when driven hard by a Hammond B-3.

I'd love to see Fender reissue the original Fender XII like Jimmy Page used on the album version of "Stairway to Heaven" and in more recent times was used by Sixpence None The Richer for their hits "Kiss Me" and "There She Goes" BTW what is notable about this is that they were well known as a Christian Rock group.I had a picture in my mind of what the lead singer looked like and when I saw her for the first time, she was just as I had her pictured in my mind's eye.

Fender no longer owns Rhodes. They have come back as an independent company. Here is the link:

I haven't visited it in quite awhile. Looks like it hasn't been updated recently.

A first generation single coil Precision in the American Vintage line. Seems like you have to buy import or Custom Shop to get one. I loved the 57 and 62 Reissue Precisions, but changing to a 58 and 63? That seems like a bit of a let down after 30 years. Why not move the 57 and 62 to the Custom Shop and bring the 59 and 55 down to the American Vintage line for awhile?

Thanks, Steve. I'll have to see if I can find one to try out!

Oh yes please. I don't even class myself as a keys player but I'd buy a Rhodes tomorrow.

The Mustang amps have an awesome vibratone effect, which is very customize-able as far as intensity, speed, depth, etc. I've never heard the real one, but I've read that it was very weak and cut volume. If you have a III, IV or V mustang (lots of power and volume, Celestian speakers) IMO you have a pretty good vibratone sound you can get.

Cue the flames....

I like the vibratone on my mustang and SCX2 very much. I wish fender would make a pedal for it. I would not only buy it, it would give me the tone, non of my pedals do. The strymon is very good at the leslie sound, the vibratone is a little different and I like it.
