Congrats on getting such a fabulous guitar, these pickups look like the Gretsch Filter-Trons that were on the Country Gentleman, are they made by the Gretsch division of Fender or by TV Jones or DeArmond?

Fender calls them Fideli'Tron and they are a take on the Gretsch pickups. I don't know who makes them I thought Fender.

Thanks guys, This is a great guitar! Fit, form and function is surprisingly good. The action is low and it plays like butter. Sounds real good also. Needs new strings, these suck. The only things I wish were different is I wish the pickup toggle switch worked up and down instead of sideways, no biggie. Also the pick guard could be a little smaller for easier access to the one volume control while playing. Then again I can't ever remember adjusting the volume in the middle of a song. I know this is sac religious, but, I think I like the Coronado better than any of my strats (7). Could be the novelty of a new guitar though.

It's a beauty! I love the tone of semi-hollow body guitars.
Can't the toggle switch be loosened and rotated 1/4 turn?

+1 !!... Couldn't agree more !!

Whenever I pick up my Heritage H535 w/ Seth Lovers, it's like a whole other Tone/Feel !

Solid Body's are great... maybe even best...

But I don't think the Toolbox is complete w/o at least one Hollow or Semi-Hollow Body in it !

cheers!

Certainly a nice guitar. I hope you enjoy it to the max. However, it kind of speaks to the issue we've been discussing elsewhere currently about Fender kind of being stuck in the past. They're accused of mixing an matching vintage concepts without creating anything really new or unique. They have introduced some interesting electronics technology concepts. However, as far as guitar designs, I give you, as a contrast, the SE and S2 series guitars from PRS.
