With my birthday rapidly approaching on the Ides of March,my wife asked me to get started on a wish list of things I would like,I just told her anything musical would do but she wanted more info.Today while I had some spare time between medical appointments I dropped into my local Mom and Pop music store and when I walked in the door I told the guys what I was there for. They all know my addiction to Fender guitars and Vox and Marshall amps and one of the guys told me about an amp they had that he knew that I'd go ape over.I went into the room where they keep all their top quality gear and saw what he was talking about,a beautiful Vox AC-4-TV,very lightly used but for an incredibly low price,I tried a Strat through it and right away was just gaga over it,what an incredible little amp and with the 1/4,1 and 4 W settings it's the perfect little amp for around the house, plus it's a tube amp and despite its tiny size,it has a 10" speakerThis puppy is a real tone monster too-but of course since it's a Vox,that's no surprise. Now I have to buy 3 more Marshalls to even the score.

Awesome!

I have this model and it's awesome, I guess it's limited on controls but personally I love the total simplicity of it. The attenuator is useful when you want some drive at lower volumes too.

Sounds great, enjoy it!

I had one of these. Gave me 0 problems in the couple of years which I owned it. Great piece of gear for the money.

I've been reading owner reviews of this amp from the 6.5" speaker equipped model all the way up to the 10" speaker model that I have and almost all the ratings are 5 star with not one negative one-at least in the reviews that I was reading. For a 4W amp this just seems more like at least 10W and the lone tone control is so wide ranging in its tonal spectrum it actually goes from an almost Top Boost treble to an almost muffled bass tone. This is going to be my go to amp for quite a while,it's pretty well everything that I would ask for if I wanted the best possible basic amp custom amp made to order.

sorry to everybody but vox amps are cool. i own an ac30c2 and it's one of my favorite amps. loud but sweet. i put all mullard tubes in it and it just does the job. so guitslinger way to go. vox amps are between a fender and a marshall. few things go better with a strat.
