nice !

interestingly, the 12BH7 is the same power tube my(the) Blackstar HT5 uses, and the ecc83 preamp as well.
score a NOS USA Tung Sol 12BH7 & it'll become a freaking MONSTER in a small package !

I push a NOS Mullard ecc82 (I like mellower pre-amp) thru the Tung Sol power tube and it's mighty sweet!

Thanks for the info. Haven't seen a NOS USA tung sol 12BH7. I'll look deeper.

Nice score modwiz! Did we run you off of the modern amp section?

This amp certainly deserves a thread in the amp section.

Nice - I have one of the old H&K Red Box units.
Lots of good reviews on their new tube series.
Enjoy.

Love the glow! That was the first thing that caught my eye. Very cool.

I wasn't sure if a non-fender amp qualified to be in the modern amps section.

I've tried those--they sound great and then you hit the Drive button and it's even better.

Nice amp-
Enjoy!

You are so right. It is the best drive channel I have played with. Excellent touch sensitivity too.

Absolutely! The consensus has been unanimously positive in the past about other amp brand threads in the amp section. There are several threads about other brands of amps, speakers, tubes, pedals, just about everything amp related. If you're worried about it, just mention how much better your Fender amps are as compared to any others, lest Fender gets offended that anyone in their right mind would even consider another brand.

if the "Tube Depot" happens to be out of stock, just browse the Blackstar forum as that's one of the main topics there.
