mine isn't really that weird but the reason I post is because I can't figure out what type of Jackson it is i.e. Dinky Soloist etc. I've tried looking up the serial number...

THAT is weird, and very cool... looking...

i'd like to hear it.

I'm thinking of getting one.
I tried one out and when I went back later to try it again--it was gone--as soon as they get another one in--I'm back to try it again.

Any way--check this video out for one in action-

I saw this today. I thought the reverse Flying V was a bad idea. This is just really wrong.

A year or two ago, there was a maker that had Strats out (I think they may have been licensed by Fender!), where the neck was joined at the REAR END of the guitar, just past where you'd expect the bridge/trem to be. It still had the regular neck pocket, but it was empty, and the bridge was just behind that. I tried Googling it, but couldn't find it. Maybe someone out there knows where the site is? I remember that they weren't expensive. And no, I'm not imbibing.

The main problem I have with the reverse Explorer is the pickguard.

While I prefer the regular shape for the Explorer--the reverse one is kind of cool.

I'll have to agree with this one. I like the reverse idea, but the pickguard is not my cup of tea.
