There is an incredibly brilliant Tangerine Sparkle Metallic colour that I have seen a few times posted on the forum that I really went nutz over.I also love the shade of British Racing Green that Fender put on 40 something Strats that they did for a select group of Jaguar Cars employees on the occasion of a special anniversary."The Jaguar Strats" were incredible not only for the beautiful BRG paint but for the beautiful intricate inlay work on them with the profile of a jaguar at the 12th fret as well as other inlays of precious and semi precious stones,if I'm not mistaken.Well known collector and Forum Alain La France has or at least had a Jaguar Strat and you can see it at
http://www.guitarmotel.com as well as some other fabulous and rare guitars.

The Mint Green pickguard, the chrome and the iconic Jaguar offset body all tend to impart an Art Deco quality to the guitar.

Can't say I'm a fan of the rather popular Candy Apple Red, though...

This combo looks really good on the AVS 63 Precision too, imo. Very classy, but in an understated sort of way.

I'll bet that the P-bass is striking in that combo and I agree that the appeal of the combination is in the understated elegance. Apparently the Fender Custom Shop also agrees, as they have issued the gorgeous 1964 Closet Classic Jazzmaster in a similar color scheme. However, at nearly 4 grand, it is well beyond my own means...

I think that the plain sunburst is probably the most unoriginal and boring color in the entire catalog.

The coolest colors are probably either Sonic Blue or Fiesta Red.

They're beautiful.

This is the type of pink Strat that my buddy traded his 70's orange sunburst telecaster (plus some cash) for back in 1989.

Either the owner is very secure in his masculinity. Or the exact opposite. One of the two.

Actually he wanted one of those '80s heavy metal style "whammy bar" guitars that all the glam metal guitarists were playing at the time, and it was all he could afford. In fact I loaned him the extra money needed (in addition to the telecaster trade-in) for him to be able to get it.
