Favorite? That is easy...50's Two Color Sunburst...the one I dislike the most...would have to be the Purple on the Jeff Beck Strat and the Graffiti Yellow, they are equally ugly so call it a tie.

Two and Three tone Sunburst. I've always loved that finish.

My first real Fender was a 70s Tele with 3 tone orange sunburst. Sold it to a friend and he traded it for a new (1989) pink Fender "Strat"- does anybody remember those Fender ibanez knockoffs that had the Art Deco "Strat" logo on the black headstock? Anyhow I wish I still had that Tele- I believe I paid 300.00 for it. I wore a hole in the finish on the third fret, but it was easier to play than the '79 Strat I bought a few months later.

Candy Apple Red (CAR)
Oddly, I've never owned a guitar in CAR . . . but I will someday.

I take it you're from the UK? Remember a song called "Any Colour You Like"?

Poem above inspired by Fender Color Chart (http://www.fender.com/support/color-chart) and my beloved (Strat).

+1

To that list add the deep violet that's an optional finish on the Robert Cray signature Strat.

It was pure sacrilege to not offer that guitar in Ice Blue Metallic.

My new favorite is Faded Sonic Blue.

The Mint Green pickguard, the chrome and the iconic Jaguar offset body all tend to impart an Art Deco quality to the guitar.

Can't say I'm a fan of the rather popular Candy Apple Red, though...

This combo looks really good on the AVS 63 Precision too, imo. Very classy, but in an understated sort of way.

This is the type of pink Strat that my buddy traded his 70's orange sunburst telecaster (plus some cash) for back in 1989.

My favorite will always be sunburst. Least favorite is any shade of brown. I hate brown basses.

Does this include a brown stain?

I do have a brown Strat, officially called "walnut," because I was going for variety.

Either the owner is very secure in his masculinity. Or the exact opposite. One of the two.
